Members RIC N BACKER
i have been a guiarist most of my youthfull years and have switced to bass recently and i hate the fact that the neck are so damn fat.what the closest bass neck that is like an ibanez rg neck? I just got a Fender geddy Lee last weekend, the thin Neck is what really appealed to me. the quality of this bass is better than any other bass I have tried in the last 10 years, next to my Ric of course. I tried to learn how to play Guitar for the last 2 years after playing bass for 25 years. it isnt easy trying to go from Bass to Guitar either....needless to say I am back on Bass for good

Members ericz
My Atlansia I would say Carvin is darn thin and those old Ibby's of the same era where pretty thin as well . What the hell is that? Is it like that thing Les Claypool played with the monkey mask on the Hallucino-Genetics DVD?
Members claypoolfan
Heres a Soundgear SRX neck. Lets compare all those other claims, with your own photos, include the dime!

This is an Atlansia 1 string bass , you are thinking of the Whamola .

Without knowing where the truss rod is, you could really screw it up. It would be easier to buy another bass.

Members 82Daion
Going on-topic, I agree with those who say Ibanez. You will not find a thinner neck on an off-the-shelf bass. The closest thing to that would be the Geddy Jazz or Jaguar.
Members justinbass
Reverends also have really skinny necks. Thinner than the Geddy or the Jaguars. They've been out of production for a bit and are getting hard to find.
