Members Anesthesia
I used to play harmonica a little while ago, and while I could easily play single notes as well as double stops and play the melody to some songs, it never sounded COOL. So what are some tips to get some good sounds out of my harps? I have A 'Honer Pro Harp C' and a 'Honer Blues Harp E'
Members bassman1956
I liked the Golden Melody's a lot, because they were easier on my lips. Practice.Practice some more.Try to learn songs by ear. Even nursery rhymes and Christmas carols.

Members Westsailor
I was shown this by a old blues harp player 'back in the day'... Soak your harp in a glass of water. You will have to trim/sand the wood back the first couple times because it swells (and will rip your lips off). It shortens the life of the harp (NP, they're cheap) but oh man can you bend a note.
