Members Funkee1 Posted August 12, 2007 Members Posted August 12, 2007 Im not posting the story, cause it's only 2 lines long........But apparently, Stephen Sommers of Mummy and Van Helsing fame has signed on to direct G.I. Joe: The motion Picture.

Members Funkee1 Posted August 12, 2007 Author Members Posted August 12, 2007 The video game adaptations don't do as much for me as the Cartoon ones (Underdog aside...) But I'll see it, either on DVD or late night cable....
Members Ender_rpm Posted August 12, 2007 Members Posted August 12, 2007 They already did this. It was 2 hours long and introduced the horrible abomination that was Cobra-La!!!

COBRA..LA LA LA LA LA LA I actually thought that movie was pretty kickass. Cobra La totally made Cobra Commander into a bitch
Members NeonVomit Posted August 13, 2007 Members Posted August 13, 2007 Aw christ, can they just leave my childhood memories alone? And another thing: how could this be a motion picture without being hugely violent? It's not big robots kicking the {censored} out of each other, it's flesh & blood humans shooting each other... If this film has anything lower than a 15 rating I will refuse to see it.
Members Psilocybin Posted August 13, 2007 Members Posted August 13, 2007 They can't go wrong with it so long as Destro is a pimp. "Cobra Commander, YOU BAFOOON!!!"
Members Psilocybin Posted August 13, 2007 Members Posted August 13, 2007 Exclusive clip from the soundtrack...

I have better memories from Transformers ( of course, I was in my 20s when it came out ) but my favorite was when they were fighting in what was inferred as the Middle East in a fictitious country called CARBOMBIA
