Beat the {censored} out of him and shove a tom up his ass.

Dan

Yup - he wouldn't even have the chance to finish the sentence before I started to mess him up very badly... I figure if things get to that point, it's game on!!!

NEVER invite the man into your life - I don't associate with cop callers...

Perfect, I don't associate with people who think they can solve issues with their fists.

Robin, are you up to a beer ?

What would you do if the drummer in your band threatened to kill you?

Boot him out of the band.....tell him that he is all done. The guy is a nut bag. Calling the cops no doubt is not where i would go. IF the guy is nuts ,, just stay the hell away from him. rat

If you think it was a credible threat, like he'd actually do something to cause bodily harm against you, call the cops. having it on file is better than whimping out and trying to solve ityourself, because if he attempts anythingyou can use that in court.

That said, I'd fire his ass, and if he became hostile I'd take care of it.........

I don't have a problem with people calling the police, but in my brother's case, calling the cops when death threats were made didn't help. He had to wait until the guy slashed all 4 of his truck tires, broke out his front window with a brick, called the cops on him resulting in a search of his house that came up empty, burned out his girlfriend's car completely, and then finally beat him with a pipe on his back porch, sending him to ICU with staples in his head before they finally did anything the person who had made the death threats almost a year prior.

I'll never ask the cops to protect me.:D

Yeah - sounds like calling the cops didn't work out so well for your brother...

Nope, none of the dozen times did him any good, considering that the perp was a confidential informant for the Colorado Springs P.D. and was sending his 18 year old son out to do the deeds. If my sister in law hadn't come out the back door with a .45 in her hand my brother might not be around, all because the cops refused to question the guy who SAID HIS NAME on the answering machine telling my brother that he was going to kill him. More than once. It was a {censored}ing joke.

I was there the day the car got burned out, the cops showed up, they asked my brother if he knew who did it, he gave them the guy's name, and the cops called it in. A few minutes later, they tell my brother that unless he witnessed the guy actually do it, they wouldn't waste the time to go question the guy. Of course, if someone even looked at the perp, my brother would have been the first person they picked up for it.

It took a brutal assault, a lawsuit filed against the city, and an obvious slip by the perp for them to take action. While my brother was in the hospital unconscious, the perp called the cops and said that my brother was at his house with a gun. Finally the cops were in a position where protecting this guy was going to cost them credibility, so they arrested him. {censored}ers.

Sorry to hear that your brother had such a bad time, C7 - I've had a few people I know have "problems" that calling the cops didn't/wouldn't make a difference...

Or, like me, you live your whole life without ever getting into a fight, never needing to fight, never having to call the cops because of someone threatening to fight me....In fact, never knew anyone like that. In my family or my wife's. Well, in high-school there was the occasional fight I saw, but nothing really serious.

You know, some people live their whole lives and never once witness an act of violence.

Now having said that, I'll probably go out tomorrow and get car-jacked and pistol-whipped. :freak:

I've never had to call the cops other than a traffic issue, but I'm also not going to depend on them to come save me if someone was a threat to my life.

I've not had to, but I have the means and knowledge to protect myself.
