Members Jamacuco
With a Michael Anthony Signature no less. I nearly soiled myself. Great tone, but do not get mistaken: it's not as Ampeg. Less grind, more hi-fi but it still retained the tubes' warmth. And the Yammy MA is an AWESOME bass. I think I am in love...
Members hasbeen
I love the amp. I do disagree that it doesn't get Ampeg grind though. Did you have the fat switch engaged? Also, how loud were you able to play it and through what cabs?
Members T. Alan Smith
I loved it too, but not enough to dish out what it sells for.

I know you like fretless- it IS a great fretless amp.......don't know if you got chance to try it with your Ray.

Maybe that was the reason we didn't hear the overdriven power amp tubes grind. Neat amp, but I am pretty happy with mine's, although it is not on the same league. If I went GASsing about amps I'd be lost.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to play fretless(much less mine) thru it. Played a Skyline, and an MTD Kingston, as well as a few others, but the cab I was running thru was an Aggie 1x12. Would have loved to hear it thru my Bergie 1x12 tho.
