Members Mytola
If you HAVE to get a PC, something with good build quality and enough cooling would be the best to get. Can't you just buy a computer without an OS and get XP yourself?
Members Bonoman
I've had an HP Celeron laptop for about four years now. This year it started giving me problems and the monitor actually died on me last week, but compared to my last two laptops which were both Dells (and dead within two years of purchase) it's been great. Plugged in a new monitor and everything still works fine. Do try to get XP, though. My parents just bought a new computer and were forced to get Vista on it and now they're suffering through all the security problems and I can't get down there to fix it for them until at least Christmas, so they're screwed. Beware of Vista!!!
