Members donsimon76 Posted August 30, 2007 Members Posted August 30, 2007 Peavey Grind Bass 4 BXP NTB Arrived 8/28/07. A Music123.com blemish item though I can't find anything that I would call a blemish. It is replacing my Ibanez Ergodyne EDB600. I just never got used to the sound of it with the Luthite body. Turns out that I like a bass that is actually made of wood! Specs: 34 inch scale 4-string 24 frets passive humbucking pickups mahogany neck with maple stringers Imbuya wings neck through body design Nice sound, beautiful to look at and comfortable, too.
Members Guttermouth Posted August 30, 2007 Members Posted August 30, 2007 sweet. now you dont have to say "luthite" anymore.that word just sounds like you're trying to talk about acrylic with a really bad speech impediment.....
Members Thumper Posted August 30, 2007 Members Posted August 30, 2007 Now, step away from the computer and rock that bad chicken.
Members PrestiaRules Posted August 30, 2007 Members Posted August 30, 2007 congrats! fyi if you did like the Ergo but hated the Luthite I read they are making them all out of wood from now on.
Members Super_Donut_Man Posted August 30, 2007 Members Posted August 30, 2007 I got the non BXP model a few years back, and in a fiver. I have absolutely no idea what the difference is, but it looks just aboot the same. I agree with the others, leave this place at once, and put a hurtin on that thing.
