Andy Dick's run-in with Columbus police this week for urinating on a building in the Harrison West neighborhood was just the beginning of a bad few days for the nationally known comedian.

The charge against Dick early Monday followed a weekend of performances at Easton's Funny Bone Comedy Club. The club's managing partner called it one of the worst experiences with a performer in the club's history.

Dave Stroupe said Dick appeared to be intoxicated all weekend, made inappropriate comments on stage and took women into the men's room, where he groped patrons and urinated on the floor and on at least one person.

Columbus Police Officer John Fantin cited Dick for urinating on the sidewalk and Avenue One, a condominium building at

431 W. 1st Ave., at 7:42 a.m. Monday.

Stroupe said a limousine driver was scheduled

to pick up Dick at

7 a.m. Monday at the Hilton at Easton and deliver him to Port Columbus for a flight to Los Angeles, but no one could find the comedian. Dick missed his morning flight and police eventually escorted him back to the hotel, Stroupe said.

The 41-year-old comedian is perhaps best known for his role in the TV sitcom NewsRadio.

He created more controversy when he returned to Los Angeles, according to TMZ.com. On Tuesday, Los Angeles County deputies visited his West Hollywood house on a complaint that he was throwing beer bottles into a neighbor's yard. On Wednesday, he smacked a photographer's camera and tore his shirt outside a Hollywood nightclub.

Dick is scheduled to appear in Franklin County Municipal Court on Thursday. He could forgo the appearance by paying a $126 fine and court costs for the misdemeanor offense, a court employee said.

So why is he so famous? Who likes this guy anyway. What a waste of space.

I thought he was hilarious in all the movies I've seen him in. His standup is probably wretched, though. He's one of those actors who can be pretty funny in small, spread out roles.

He is a waste. Remember the Andy Dick Show? He had his own short-lived series ala' Tom Green or Dave Chapelle. I don't think it even lasted a season, and that's a good thing because it was the only comedy show that has ever offended me. He would go to hospice care places and make fun of people with terminal cancer. I have hated him ever since.

Back in July, around the time that happened, MSNBC flashed the following headline on the screen:

LOVITZ BEATS DICK

I never heard if they got fined for it. But I had a good "bwaaaaaa" moment thanks to them. :thu:

If he had shown up when I was with my grandfather in the hospice, they would have had to shoot me with thorazine to get me off of him. He's lucky he didn't come across a really emotional family member and get his face ripped off for that {censored}.

He's been a piece of {censored} for a long time. And a {censored}, apparently; if you get beat up by Jon Lovitz, it's time to hit the gym.:D
