Members Thumper
I'm gonna lay some duct tape down on that vintage tube head. It's your amp, so you can do what you want. Covering it with duct tape is going to kill the originality of a nice minty vintage amp, though.
Members Apendecto
That head is gonna be dope when I trick it out to match this: You're kidding me. That head is pristine from what I can tell from the pictures. Why don't you tape up an amp that has bad cosmetics. Please reconsider... Yo. Members catphish
you could saran wrap the thing before you do it, then you can take it off in the future, if you want.

Duct taping is what you do to a $50 bass made in China that will never really be worth anything.
Members misterhinkydink
If you must have the ugly duct tape, it would be simple to make another box for the chassis and trash it with duct tape.

Members ModmanQ6
Duct taping that head without covering it with a protective clean cover first is crazy IMHO... If you can pull off the saran wrap idea, then go for it - it will protect the pristine condition it's in with an additional layer of armor to take the abuse, but don't stick the tape directly on it. You'll never ever get all the glue back off it after it's had time to impregnate the original tolex... Saran wrap it on all surfaces you plan to tape, cover it with an under layer of plain, and then apply your colored tape over that for great protection and scratch resistance...
