I mean hell just give up.. AIC is my absolute favorite band but if someone says Layne was the most horrible singer ever.. i'm gonna say you're entitled to think that and walk away. I would contend that Kurt was a better songwriter (a measurement I consider completely subjective, but I don't believe you can measure songwriting any other way). I would grant that the members of Rush and Dream Theatre are technically better musicians, but I know that if I was about to listen to some music and I had to choose between the three, it would be Nirvana 9 times out of 10.
