Of course by "traditional scottish sounding music" I mean improved jibberish that just sounds awesome! I just wish I had my amp working so I could record it!

There is a song called "Marie's wedding" that he plays. Billy Connoly used to do a sketch about it that I have on CD - I'll see if I can find it on youtube...

Members der oxenrig Posted September 5, 2007 Members Posted September 5, 2007 Bagpipes have a big drone note constantly going. Probably C# or something (I don't actually know). If you found some bagpipe music, applied it to bass, played with lots of snappy notes on a fretless and used a looper for the drones it might work reasonably well. It's actually A447 or thereabouts, which most people hear as Bb.
