Members Billystrat Posted September 5, 2007 Members Posted September 5, 2007 Today I picked up a Hartke 7000 bass head for $75! The rack ears are a little bent, it's missing the LED power light, and it needed a power supply. Two separate 350 watt outputs at 8ohms with hi/lo frequency outputs. I should have this cleaned up and gigging in no time. It works great so far and I'm stoked about my deal.
Moderators Kindness Posted September 5, 2007 Moderators Posted September 5, 2007 It works without a power supply? Or do you mean it was missing an ac cord? If it was just the cord, good steal.
Members Billystrat Posted September 5, 2007 Author Members Posted September 5, 2007 whooops yeah I meant plug. It was just missing the 3 prong plug that's standard on most amps/computers etc.
Moderators Kindness Posted September 5, 2007 Moderators Posted September 5, 2007 That's a steal. heads to local CL
Members Billystrat Posted September 5, 2007 Author Members Posted September 5, 2007 Yeah go for it! I browse not only my local but all of the ones within' 100 miles. I had to drive about 50 miles to get the Hartke, but well worth it.

Members J. Posted September 5, 2007 Members Posted September 5, 2007 If you lived in my area, you could match it up with a pair of $60 cabs!http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/msg/412881684.html The next time you were talking with the bass player of another band at one of those multiple bill shows, you could be like "Yeah, my rig set me back almost two hundred bucks, but it was worth it. Buy once, cry once."

I have a few cabs that I picked up cheap that really need decent 15s in them. I'm looking to bi-amp a 2x10 cab w/ 1 or 2 15s.
