Members takeout Posted September 6, 2007 Members Posted September 6, 2007 TG is at IND now...? Cool....one of my favorite players....go Colts...Anthony Gonzalez. Rookie. Should be a great game - the over/under on this game must be +/- 50 at least.
Members Jugghaid Posted September 6, 2007 Members Posted September 6, 2007 Anthony Gonzalez. Rookie.Should be a great game - the over/under on this game must be +/- 50 at least. Yup. 1st round pick too.....we'll see. I hope it's a good game and the Saints win.
Members rummy Posted September 6, 2007 Members Posted September 6, 2007 Hope the Saints win. I had a chance to meet Drew Brees while he was still at Purdue. Plus, the Colts whooped us, so, screw them!
Members jonathan_matos5 Posted September 6, 2007 Members Posted September 6, 2007 can they somehow both lose? i cant choose between two teams that i dont like. i dont hate them either but how can you choose if you dont really like either.

Members rummy Posted September 6, 2007 Members Posted September 6, 2007 BTW, it's Peyton with an "E."
Members RSBro Posted September 6, 2007 Author Members Posted September 6, 2007 can they somehow both lose? i cant choose between two teams that i dont like. i dont hate them either but how can you choose if you dont really like either. Indy and Tennessee are the only teams I like, so.
Members RSBro Posted September 6, 2007 Author Members Posted September 6, 2007 BTW, it's Peyton with an "E." I always forget. I know people who have it both ways. The E is usually my go-to pick, but then it looks weird so I change it.
Members jonathan_matos5 Posted September 6, 2007 Members Posted September 6, 2007 BTW, it's Peyton with an "E." are you chicago types allowed to root for an indiana team:confused: i always thought Ditka would kick your ass or something:D
Members Captain Fathead Posted September 6, 2007 Members Posted September 6, 2007 I'm originally from Indy. Watching the game with a bunch of pats fans in Boston (here for a few days). Wish I was back at the family house... Tonight'll be nuts in Indianapolis. It'll be cool seeing how Gonzalez does filling Stokely's shoes (not that difficult, but when I really liked stokely when he wasn't injured), and a few concerns about Tony Ugoh. Not on his ability, but in terms of meshing with our line. He did well in training camp, so knock on wood. My little brother goes to school with Dungee's kid. He's talked football with him (tony dungee) at an HS football game. Mad cool... gotta love Indianapolis, it still kinda has a small town feel.
Moderators ThudMaker Posted September 6, 2007 Moderators Posted September 6, 2007 are you chicago types allowed to root for an indiana team:confused:i always thought Ditka would kick your ass or something:DYears ago in the mid 90's, when the Bears decided to let some of their players go, quite a few of them ended up on the Colts, including Jim Harbaugh and Gardocki. The Bears stunk, so it was an easy drive over to the RCA Dome to cheer on the Colts beating up on the Bills.
Members rikshaw Posted September 7, 2007 Members Posted September 7, 2007 i just told the family "i'll see you in february"
Members Super_Donut_Man Posted September 7, 2007 Members Posted September 7, 2007 I am terribly sorry. Go saints because of all the ex Chargers/San Diegans.
Members Funkee1 Posted September 7, 2007 Members Posted September 7, 2007 Well, so fer that Saints are getting their Butts kicked......
Members rikshaw Posted September 7, 2007 Members Posted September 7, 2007 Well, so fer that Saints are getting their Butts kicked...... yup. its pretty sad
Members xOriginalNinjax Posted September 7, 2007 Members Posted September 7, 2007 Ahhhh, the introduction to this year is looking WONDERFUL! The only thing that stinks, is that I may be going to Chicago next weekend...oh well... GO COLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH! I'm so nervous for this season already...but this game is showing some Colt potential!
Members RSBro Posted September 7, 2007 Author Members Posted September 7, 2007 I mean there's wins, games, and just good 'ol fashioned beat downs. I think we know which that was... I knew Peyton and Co. were gonna run wild, but Indy's D played a helluva game. Mightily impressed for a team that averaged 173 yds allowed on the ground last season (think that was just on the ground- might have been total D can't remember)

Surprises me to see you interested in a Buckeye RSB!! I think Gonzo will make a great pro receiver, but maybe not in Indy with Harrison, Wayne, and the great tight ends Peyton has around him. Mr. Matt

Mr. Matt Well, he is playing for Indy, so it shall be forgiven. Plus, OSU lost last year so I have no complaints!! I'm with you there. Even if he doesn't share half time or anything, there's not a whole lot better passing offenses to learn under your first few years in the league.
Members Emprov Posted September 7, 2007 Members Posted September 7, 2007 I am terribly sorry. So are the Raiders.
