Members birdboy7007
I recently upgraded to 2007. I hate changing my word processor, etc, because when it comes to that point I know all the tricks and secrets to make the old one do what I want. Then the new one comes along and I don't know what I'm doing anymore. That being said, I find 2007 is supremely intuitive. I've had no problem figuring out how to do everything that I want to do. I'm enjoying it.

I have 2007 on my lappy and 2003 on my desktop.
Members HackedByChinese!
What are the specs of your current machine? I've had to install Office 2007 on a machine with only 256 megs of RAM and it ran, but as slowly as you would expect from such a configuration. Members lyricpoet
What have you got for RAM on your computer? Hell, these days 512MB is a joke, 1 gig is a must, 2 is better; 4-8 is supreme! Has nothing to do with that?
Members MrJoshua
4-8GB of memory? You're running a 64-bit OS, I assume?
Members Super Bass
Yeah WTF, who needs 8GB of RAM? I've got 1GB in my Toshiba and its runnin' smooth. Maybe thats because I dont have Vista
Members Zeromus-X
You can find 512 meg sticks of RAM free in marked boxes of cereal nowadays. If you can afford $200 for even the cheapest version of Office 2007, you can afford a RAM upgrade. And yeah, don't get more than 3 gig.
