Members Zeromus-X Posted September 17, 2007 Members Posted September 17, 2007 I know there's a lot of IEM talk over here, figured some of you guys might be able to take advantage of this. Amazon Shure E2c Amazon has the Shure E2c sound isolating earbuds for $39 with free shipping. Click that link and choose Amazon as the seller on the right side of the screen. Don't know how long it will last at this price.
Members rummy Posted September 17, 2007 Members Posted September 17, 2007 Whoa. That is a good deal. Don't they usually go for $100?
Members takeout Posted September 17, 2007 Members Posted September 17, 2007 Excellent catch - thanks for posting that. Two pairs on their way to me...
Members burdizzos Posted September 17, 2007 Members Posted September 17, 2007 Son of a bitch. I already ordered the Ultimate Ears set. I'll probably snag these anyway.
Members i_wanna_les_paul Posted September 17, 2007 Members Posted September 17, 2007 Whoa. That is a good deal. Don't they usually go for $100? They did, and they've been replaced by a newer model, IIRC. I have a pair and they're nice, but they make me yearn for a bit better 'buds. However, at $40, it's not a bad deal. Dustin
Members rummy Posted September 17, 2007 Members Posted September 17, 2007 I put my order through. Thanks! I paid $40 for these Sonys that are similar to these. I'm excited!
Members bassesofalessergod Posted September 17, 2007 Members Posted September 17, 2007 are htese headphones for MP3 players or strcitly in-ear monitors?
Members burdizzos Posted September 17, 2007 Members Posted September 17, 2007 are htese headphones for MP3 players or strcitly in-ear monitors? Both. The difference between the two has been blurred. The goal for both is the same, so it makes sense.
Members chunky-b Posted September 17, 2007 Members Posted September 17, 2007 I almost bought a pair in the Apple store yesterday... (My daughters drug me in there, I didn't want to go...:poke:) They had way too many $100 + ear buds and headphones. Who wants to have a sound test and see if they are worth the extra money?
Members bassesofalessergod Posted September 17, 2007 Members Posted September 17, 2007 when i put them in my cart they say $60 save $39
Members bassesofalessergod Posted September 17, 2007 Members Posted September 17, 2007 whoa, now they say $53
Members rummy Posted September 17, 2007 Members Posted September 17, 2007 You have to click it on the "More buying choices" panel.
Members dwalmz Posted September 17, 2007 Members Posted September 17, 2007 I bought a pair last year for $79 at SAMS. That's a great deal. I didn't like them, though.
Members takeout Posted September 17, 2007 Members Posted September 17, 2007 when i put them in my cart they say $60 save $39 Yeah - you have to click where Z-X said in the first post. The list of sellers, off to the right.

Members Zeromus-X Posted September 17, 2007 Author Members Posted September 17, 2007 Son of a bitch.I already ordered the Ultimate Ears set.I'll probably snag these anyway. The UE buds will blow these away in terms of bass frequency. As they should for twice the price.
Members Ender_rpm Posted September 17, 2007 Members Posted September 17, 2007 On the way. thanks for the heads up!!
Members burdizzos Posted September 17, 2007 Members Posted September 17, 2007 The UE buds will blow these away in terms of bass frequency. As they should for twice the price. They {censored}ing better! I'm more concerned about comfort. I'd stick with the stock Galaxies if they were comfortable and would stay put. I snagged a pair of the E2Cs because they might work better for me, even though I haven't received the UEs yet.
Members Zeromus-X Posted September 17, 2007 Author Members Posted September 17, 2007 Looks like I shoulda stuck a damn referral link in there; maybe I could have gotten myself a pair by now. I can't afford 'em myself. Let me know how you like them compared to the UE buds though, maybe I'll eventually be able to pick up a set!
Members bassesofalessergod Posted September 17, 2007 Members Posted September 17, 2007 i bought a pair Z.
Members burdizzos Posted September 17, 2007 Members Posted September 17, 2007 Will do, I'll probably end up giving the E2Cs to Sean when he gets his belt pack.
Members Zeromus-X Posted September 17, 2007 Author Members Posted September 17, 2007 Glad you guys could use this! Hate to see the deals like this go to all the eBay resellers. Our guitarist was looking into going with IEMs, maybe I'll mention this to him whenever he wakes up today.

Members Zeromus-X Posted September 17, 2007 Author Members Posted September 17, 2007 Hey, come on, let's be real now. He's only 20. Besides, it would cut into his creative time, and we wouldn't want that.
