That look (Natural with blocks on the neck) has been done to death the last few years...but this is the bass I first saw it on and have always thought did it best. Moderators Kindness Posted September 17, 2007 Moderators Share Posted September 17, 2007 But but but in 1975 the maple necks didn't have black inlays... It's still a hot bass.

Members mobass
The american vintage reissues are sweet. I've played a 75 ri jazz, and today i played a 62 RI P at GC. I really want the 62 P.
Members Optimus Prime
God, I wish I had $950. That's cheaper than a standard.

I really want the 62 P. My AV 62RI Jazz made me sell most of my other gear.. I took it out of the case and by god... It was so light, it was perfectly balanced ant just played... wow, it inspires like nothing else. Same goes for my AV 52RI Tele.. Something magical about the two of em. Members jackcheez
Where's GRANKOR ? He just took delivery on one of those. It is a good looking instrument.
Members JacieFB
Always loved the look of that instrument...tried one in GC a few years ago and it just felt "stiff" for lack of a better term. Kinda clunky. Not sure why. The American Series always felt better to me...like worlds better.
