Members __tony__renaud
This little number from the shady eighties? Brilliant bass playing - I'm 90% sure it's T.M. Stevens:

Members Brother Mango
This is one of those songs that I had no respect for when it was new & on the radio. But all these years later, I'm so glad to revisit it with musician ears. Lots to appreciate.
Members __tony__renaud
Yeah, it's a great piece - slick, well-crafted, and wonderfully performed. I robbed a lot of stuff from the bass pattern as well as the drum machine track way back when. It's still a benchmark for great bass tone for me. This tune was cut many years before ProTools and pitch correction, which says a lot for the performers on the project.
Members Funkee1
Yeah, I remember that one. It was one of many songs that were essentially rip-offs of "Let's get it on". Freedi Jackson, this guy, Gavin Christopher, etc. good stuff though!
