Members gspointer Posted September 28, 2007 Members Posted September 28, 2007 my drummers wife made a myspace page for my band. I downloaded some pics, and tried to start a slideshow, the myspace directions stopped at step 2 (cntrl+2), I then edited the BIO spot, it appeared empty on our page, except for a "c" in a box. I foolishly deleted all the code and pasted the code for the slideshow. Much to my dismay, the background, font etc. dissapeared. Now I have killed her efforts and added a slideshow. What is a good, free background/font site?

Members jmseymour Posted September 28, 2007 Members Posted September 28, 2007 Like it or not, every band should have a myspace. He is right. Where I'm from, a lot of club booking agents will not even consider a band unless they have a myspace or purevolume. I don't blame them, when you have a limited amount of time to book GOOD acts, it's really infuriating when you have to go through a webpage with a {censored}ty intro, find the "media" section, and download a mp3.

Members justinbass Posted September 28, 2007 Members Posted September 28, 2007 My band, for example, has a www.mybandname.com. The site is our logo, and when you click anywhere, it takes you to our myspace. Hell, The Roots have the same thing(with better music and more fans).
Members e4c4ever Posted September 28, 2007 Members Posted September 28, 2007 myspace is getting to be a pain. Have you tried purevolume?
