Members bassdudeguy Posted October 1, 2007 Members Posted October 1, 2007 ok this is what happened, i bought a pair of converse chuck taylors size mens 9.5, but that turned out to be too big (my toes only go to the start of the white part on the end) so basically im wondering, how much does 1 shoe size equal in centimeters? thanks
Members Thumper Posted October 1, 2007 Members Posted October 1, 2007 Chucks run big. I'm a size 10 and I wear a 9 in Chucks. Zappos recommends ordering a half-size smaller than your normal size.
Members bassdudeguy Posted October 1, 2007 Author Members Posted October 1, 2007 how much would a half size be im centimeters if you know?
Members whatsabass? Posted October 1, 2007 Members Posted October 1, 2007 My best guess is around 1-1.5cm difference. I would try putting an aftermarket insole in the shoes.
Members Noise... Posted October 1, 2007 Members Posted October 1, 2007 Yeah...they run big by about one size. Usually I wear 9's, but my Converse are 8's.
CMS Author Craig Vecchione Posted October 1, 2007 CMS Author Posted October 1, 2007 No idea in cm's, but a men's US shoe size = ~.33".

Members Optimus Prime Posted October 2, 2007 Members Posted October 2, 2007 I have big feet, I wear a 13. I don't understand what's so cool about Converses.
Members B-Bottom Posted October 2, 2007 Members Posted October 2, 2007 I have big feet, I wear a 13. I don't understand what's so cool about Converses. Besides my boots and running shoes, I bought my first pair of non chuck sneakers for the first time in about 15 years about 2 months ago. I really don't know why I didn't get a "good" pair of sneakers sooner. Oh and the sneakers I bought are still Converse
