Members willbill0587
I would imagine that the 410/410 combo would just be a louder, more powerful version of what I've got now?
Members bassman339
It all depends on what you play, what your playing thru and what sounds best to you. I play an Ampeg SVT Classic thru an Ampeg 4x10 and a homemade 1x15 and its enough to piss off my guitar player and cut thru the loudest drummer. I like this setup cuz it carries the highs, mids and lows very well. I think most people play thru an 8x10 cab which is loud cuz of the mids. But again, its all up to what you like best. Members REMUS
Depends if you are heavy on your B string and what tunings you use, also the quality of your 4x10 matters allot in this equation.
Members Gruntollio Bass
I'm using 2 x 410's and am stoked with the volume and quality of sound that I get from this. I've got a friend that has a similar set-up to mine and also has a 115/410 set up and he finds that it can be a bit too boomy, but hey.......it is always best to let your ears be the judge. From my Eden set-up, my 410XST gives out plenty enough bottom end for my low B with out any farting. The 410XLT gives me plenty of bark and growl. The whole combination will dry your clothes mate!
