Members davis1 Posted October 7, 2007 Members Posted October 7, 2007 The dilemma is that i find playing the notes I want to play when soloing on my current only bass, which happens to be a 4 string, is difficult due to the string spacing and the action. If I get a 5 string (which will take time to work towards), I think I can pull the lead licks off easier, and if I choose the practice route (which will also take time to work towards), I'll have one less bass and more technique..:confused::cool:
Members Rusty the Scoob Posted October 7, 2007 Members Posted October 7, 2007 What's wrong with both?
Members y-o-y Posted October 7, 2007 Members Posted October 7, 2007 Path of least resistance. Throw money at the problem and if buying a new bass doesn't fix your issues, resort to more practice.
