Members Jim-Bass Posted October 9, 2007 Members Posted October 9, 2007 The G&L will be mine very soon, you will be made to look at numerous pictures and say and say things like 'nice bass man', but in the meantime.... I considering getting an Eden Nemesis, perhaps the NC210 Combo - to replace the Combo I have now, which whilst good, I'd rather have something on par with the G&L. It sounded good in the shops, but thats 'in the shop' ....( like those mirrors in clothing stores that make you look good no matter what) Any comments on this?
Members Flatball Posted October 9, 2007 Members Posted October 9, 2007 I owned a NC210 and loved it. Great for smaller gigs but at 250w, it didn't have all I needed. Great amp for the size and bucks though.
Members Darkstorm Posted October 10, 2007 Members Posted October 10, 2007 Eden Nemesis combos are my fave for small lightwight terrific hifi sound combos. Does like the 1x15 combo better then the 2x10 though. Cause its better balanced sound wise lows to highs. The 2x10 more accents the lows. Found the 1x15 excellent for bass, synths and guitars whereas the 2x10 just wanted to do too much bass end when tried it with guitar and synths. And my requirements needed good sound for guitar and synths not just bass without a lot of extra eq'ing for diff isntruments. The 1x15 also weighs less then the 2x10. Have owned their combos and the 1x15 ext cab. Great stuff imo.

Members been_effected Posted October 10, 2007 Members Posted October 10, 2007 sounds like I'll be flying to Bondi to "liberate" your G&L from your heathen hands
Members Thumper Posted October 10, 2007 Members Posted October 10, 2007 I used an NC 112P combo as my main rig for six years. It was light weight, had lots of nice features and sounded really nice.
Members Perfessor Posted October 10, 2007 Members Posted October 10, 2007 Mine sounded awesome but couldn't take the lows I was asking out of it, really just about 3/4 on the bass and 1/2 of the midrange, 1/4 treble. It kept going to distortion at about 1/3 volume or more so I had to get rid of it. The nearest "authorized service center" (over an hour drive) didn't even know it was one even though Eden listed them as such. "Really we are?"
Members allan grossman Posted October 10, 2007 Members Posted October 10, 2007 Had a 4x10. Good starter amp but a little bit wimpy for bigger rooms or loud rehearsals.

Members Perfessor Posted October 10, 2007 Members Posted October 10, 2007 *waits for someone to comment on Eden's customer service* I did. Beat ya to it!
Members burdizzos Posted October 10, 2007 Members Posted October 10, 2007 I had a Nemesis NC210, it was a nice amp. Great sound and very easy to transport. My only complaint is that they are kind of weak. They run out of room in a hurry if you're playing with loud band members who refuse to turn down. If you play with reasonable people, it's a great amp.
CMS Author Craig Vecchione Posted October 10, 2007 CMS Author Posted October 10, 2007 I did. Beat ya to it! Ah! So you did! So they did the, "who am I, why am I here?" to you. Sweet!
Members Flatball Posted October 10, 2007 Members Posted October 10, 2007 *waits for someone to comment on Eden's customer service* I'm sure someone will. and Eden has certainly had their share of issues with CS however, the Nemesis is solid state and I have NEVER heard of anyone having problems with these units.
Members johnny6644 Posted October 10, 2007 Members Posted October 10, 2007 I had the 2x8 silver series unit, but it wasn't loud enough, even with an extension cab. Sounded great though, at appropriate volumes.
