Members Mr.Mow Posted October 17, 2007 Members Posted October 17, 2007 Guys, a quicky.. Do fretless basses have their necks set more towards being flat or more towards the 'bowed' (relief) direction? Cheers

Members mrcrow Posted October 17, 2007 Members Posted October 17, 2007 you can get board buzz which will ruin tone and intonationi set mine as you would a fretted..and tested the string plucked at the '1st fret' position for bow and likewise the 12th for actionthe string height setting for fretted at the 12th of around 1/8" still holds good for fretless...albeit its from the underside of the string to the board..if you pluck deep for a urb sound muted you will need a bit more of both
