Members Bluescout
I like Colbert. He's what John Stewart used to be when he was funny.
Members lyricpoet
Amongst his humor lies atavastic truth, at its very apex! I think Jon Stewart is still funny- at first Colbert's show was flat and sometimes weak. But he's caught up:thu:
Members Captain Fathead
at first Colbert's show was flat and sometimes weak. But he's caught up:thu: I'm the opposite. I thought Colbert was blah for the first month, got into it, but now it just seems kind of contrived. I still enjoy the Daily Show. EDIT: I did enjoy the op-ed piece. It's the tv show that i don't enjoy as much anymore.

Yeah - he gives it to everybody and you've gotta love that. He is one very few comedians I would call brilliant.
Members Bass8987
I like Colbert, but I have never liked Jon Stewart. I don't think I have ever laughed at one of his jokes on the Daily Show, he just isn't funny.

BTW, imo Stewart vs. Colbert's shows are tied at this moment in time.

Members Zamfir
See my sig. Colbert was on his A game the other night on Larry King Live. I didn't realize he'd gone through Second City, but the guy can improv so well.
Members birdboy7007
This article is pre-his announcement to run for president (in South Carolina), which through me for a loop at first, but once I realized it was a little older, brilliant. Members niomosy
Somewhat OT, his Ben and Jerry's ice cream flavor is the best one they make! Not bad. It's a bit of a poor man's Hagen Daasz Caramel Cone. Still pretty tasty, but not quite up to Caramel Cone. Of course, at 2 for $6 vs HD's one for $4.19, Ben & Jerry's gets my money most of the time. Though it's nice when they have the rare 2 for $6 HD sales.
Members Zamfir
I've never had a Haagen Daasz that matched the hype, IMO. Now Denali and the malted version of their Moose Tracks...mmmm....

Members willsellout
I find that the people who don't like him, don't understand his sense of humor. The guy doesn't have a serious bone in his body...I mean everything is a joke to him and I love it. Dan
