actually my favorite ones, soundwise, are the 800RB's...

but with the 1001RBII i will get those voicing filters, cose since i play 5 strings almost exclusively, it is an amazing feature that they developed really really well in their amps... i will get more power (two times more power then the 800RB), it is lighter, smaller, and actually cheaper then the 800RB in europe!

Jesus, another bloody GK thread...must be a phase everyone's going through

I guess that would make me a trendsetter. Bitches.

Of course, far be it from me to get upset at folks for wanting to sound as excellent as I do. May I recommend lessons for those of you that ain't got the kind of skillz I gots these days?

I'd sound good if everyone was doing beer bongs and drunk of their ass too:D

I'd only sound as good as you C7 if I was lynched by an angry mob from Lakewood, Colorado, taken for a ride by "one of the boys" in the back of a pickup then had both of my arms broken after being thrown off said pickup.

And all for saying country music sucks

If you say so.

I mean, I can arrange that if you'd like. I know plenty of angry suburbanites with trucks, we could have you strung up and {censored}ed in no time.

Of course, you could just buy a Spector and call it good...

Ok that was freaky, was just listening to a local act's EP, and I know he uses a Spector Euro.

Well in my case this is the opposite for my 700. The things is hit or miss constantly. Had it repaired once, but a week after it started fuzzin again. I think I am going to go for a power/pre setup.

G-K, there's nothing more you need! Seriously, I can get a fat woody tone to a crisp trebly bite out of my 800RB.

I may get a 1001RB for my Schroeder 4x12. It's a pretty power hungry cab. Of course, I'll have to run a tube guitar amp in parallel with it, but there's nothing wrong with that. :p

Yeah...I'll probably have a 2001 or a 1001 in the next few weeks as well!

How would you compare those to the Little Mark? I know they can get dirty...

I think they sound brighter and more metallic. The LMII is very warm. For my type of music, with my Stingrays, either a tube amp or a GK gets the best grit. I alos go for a very aggressive sound.

I also don't feel like lugging my tube amp around (especially since they don't make em' anymore) so I'll grab me a GK. It's too damn heavy, and I don't like all those glass tubes getting tossed around. I think the LMII will stick around too...but I'm not sure yet. It's such a great sounding little head, but I really only use it at home or for small gigs...and not because it's not powerful enough...just because it's very tiny to lug around!

It's just different really...and I'm always buying and selling gear!
