Members L-1329 Posted October 24, 2007 Members Share Posted October 24, 2007 I watched a night launch once standing out in the swamp as close to the cape as you could get. Man that was cool, and the exhaust was so bright it lit the whole sky like it was daylight! Other cool thing is you could see it with your bare eyes enough to see the booster seperation, and you could watch the glowing dot go up across the sky, and then start going down as it went around the earth. We could still see the faint glowing dot when the shuttle was talking on the radio as it passed New York! Talk about freakin' cool! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
