Members NeonVomit Posted October 24, 2007 Members Share Posted October 24, 2007 Yeh I noticed the ABM stuff go down in price. My gear is all UK made - but I got good deals on the head & cab. Having emailed Ashdown quite a few times, the diff between the old UK-made ABM stuff and the new Klystron head is really superficial. Mostly cosmetic tbh.The cabs now have different drivers, tho, and weigh much less. The Klystron has an onboard compressor and damn near everything is footswitchable, nice touches. Yeah, my ABM cabs are UK made as well, and I was considering getting an ABM head but I just don't feel that confident with a Chinese-made head on top of them (see my 'reliability' thread/poll) especially if it's going to see the heavy use and travel I forsee in the not too distant future.
