Members The Insomniac Posted October 27, 2007 Author Members Posted October 27, 2007 We have A LOT of friends in common. I'm just worried I could take a big PR hit.
Members Svi Posted October 27, 2007 Members Posted October 27, 2007 She wants to compare herself to your new girlfriend. However, you really can't tell her "no"....it's a public place and she'll probably come anyway. Not only will it be uncomfortable for you-but also your new girlfriend. Sticky situation indeed. Good luck with it.

Members mike fitzwell Posted October 27, 2007 Members Posted October 27, 2007 The correct answer is a three way.

Members bassman1956 Posted October 27, 2007 Members Posted October 27, 2007 Q: Can you get her talked into dressing as a totally cheesie trashy kind of gal for the evening, and get your friends in on it? Pass her off to your ex that way? Might be fun if your new gf's in on it.
Members Thunderbroom Posted October 27, 2007 Members Posted October 27, 2007 Ok - I need to think about this for a bit. Why?

Members bassman1956 Posted October 27, 2007 Members Posted October 27, 2007 Why? Because ex's are always spending abnormal amounts of effort into loading shotguns, just in case. 2 women untied and unfettered by past romance? Go for it!

Members King Kashue Posted October 27, 2007 Members Posted October 27, 2007 Naw, kill her with kindness. Other folks will recognize that she's being pushy and should back off, and if you take it totally in stride, you look like the bigger man. Let your new girlfriend know the score, tell her that you don't want your ex there but you're not going to make a big public deal about it. If you play it totally zen, you'll come off cryo and everyone will think better of you for managing it so well...
Members Westsailor Posted October 27, 2007 Members Posted October 27, 2007 The correct answer is a three way. The potential for a threesome was the 1st thing that popped into my mind. There was once this really hot chick that was a regular at a club where we played. My wife (at the time) and the chick got to be friends. I benefited from their friendship more than once. So much so I insisted my wife and the girl accompany us on our Caribbean tour.

Members The Insomniac Posted October 27, 2007 Author Members Posted October 27, 2007 I have been killing the ex with kindness. We even worked on a job together when she was having trouble meeting a deadline. I really didn't want to have the first time a girl comes out to hear my band to have the wife hanging around. She is going to grab a table that my friends are at also limiting the ability to introduce her to people I know. Very selfish. I

Members The Insomniac Posted October 27, 2007 Author Members Posted October 27, 2007 Problem solved. We just talked and she brought it up. She said she is going to pass on coming out. She didn't want to make anyone uncomfortable. She's pretty cool. That's why I married her.

Members Mudbass Posted October 27, 2007 Members Posted October 27, 2007 Why does she want to do this. I know she is good friends with the band but this is my band. Maybe it's not you she's coming to see.
