That's easy to fix. Yes, there's a battery on the motherboard that provides power for a chip that keeps your clock time and the like between shutdowns. You would have to open the case, determine the battery type, and pop another one in. Without knowing what type of motherboard you have, I can't say much more. The first place I would check would be directly beneath the RAM slots. If it's not there, they're generally on the side of the motherboard closest to the front of the case. That's the best advice I can give without a photo. Once the battery is replaced, you're probably going to need to get into your motherboard's BIOS utility and reset the time and date.
