Members UK_Lefty Posted November 2, 2007 Members Posted November 2, 2007 New Warwick Streamer LX - and yes, its upside down!!! I haven't played four strings and frets for a long time but this bass is just very very easy to play. It needs a bit of a set up but I've just played for 30mins since it arrived and there's not much to do. Its a looker, and it sounds pretty damn good too!!!
Members rummy Posted November 2, 2007 Members Posted November 2, 2007 It's hot! What are the controls? Is it active/passive with the volume knob pull?
Members UK_Lefty Posted November 2, 2007 Author Members Posted November 2, 2007 yeah its active/ passive with the push/pull on the master vol. There is then bass boost, trebble boost and pick-up blend... Ok, i got it second hand but its in almost new condition as far as I can see and tell from prodding and poking it. Its far better than the Corvette Standards I've played in shops and it cost me less! Tone is fairly versatile, I'm sure once i spend more time with it I'll discover more. The neck is amazingly thin and playable. The body looks great and feels great, I've heard these maple bodies are really tough too. The gold hardware looks fantastic, and it may even persuade me to get some ofthose gold strings...
Members rummy Posted November 2, 2007 Members Posted November 2, 2007 Maple body, huh? Awesome. We'll need some sound clips!
Members t3ch Posted November 2, 2007 Members Posted November 2, 2007 something with that bass is... off...
