Members mlwarriner Posted November 2, 2007 Members Posted November 2, 2007 ok. so i want a good octave UP pedal. tried out the up in my boss me50b and was disappointed. poor tracking. borrowed a standard ehx pog from a buddy and love it. pricey though. and i don't need all of the features. one up and one down is plenty. so, enter the micro pog from ehx. don't know anybody local with one i can test-drive, so i'll be going on faith. does it track as well and sound as good as the std. pog?
Members Jazz Ad Posted November 2, 2007 Members Posted November 2, 2007 Yes and it too is overpriced.
Members Undead Sycip Posted November 2, 2007 Members Posted November 2, 2007 It tracks just as good as the POG. It may seem overpriced but overpriced compared to what octave up pedal? The others out there are not polyphonic and don't track as well as the EHX offerings.
Members mlwarriner Posted November 2, 2007 Author Members Posted November 2, 2007 Yes and it too is overpriced. perhaps a little, yes. but it's not as overpriced as the std. pog, and i don't need all of the features of the std.
Members mlwarriner Posted November 2, 2007 Author Members Posted November 2, 2007 Yes and it too is overpriced. and if the micro is overpriced, can you suggest a comparable quality octave up pedal for less money?
Members birdboy7007 Posted November 3, 2007 Members Posted November 3, 2007 I just bought the micro a few weeks ago. Couldn't afford the full deal, and don't really care for/need the extra options. I've been loving it, fully handles everything I throw at it. Great little box.
Members bassman1956 Posted November 3, 2007 Members Posted November 3, 2007 Finally, something that makes sense!
Members frunobulax Posted November 3, 2007 Members Posted November 3, 2007 i messed around with the full POG at GC last week. amazing pedal, but i couldn't justify the cost for a pedal that might get used in one song during a show. anything more than once and it would be overkill, a little too gimmicky. YMMV

What's the going rate? Thanks. Yo.

Although I do have a volume pedal right after it and can turn it on and off, it's there. Yo.
