Members Bob O'Brian Posted November 9, 2007 Members Posted November 9, 2007 Yep I'm still around, no internet at home though, missing all you HCBF people Anyway our very lovely female singer has developed tonsilitis... no gigs anyway this weekend (phew) but how long should we go before asking her to sing again? Will there be any permanent effects? We've got a gig on December 15th which is very important to us, I really really hope she's back in full voice by then...
Members Jazz Ad Posted November 9, 2007 Members Posted November 9, 2007 Tonsilitis nowadays is done in 15 minutes and recovery takes a couple days.
Members Bob O'Brian Posted November 9, 2007 Author Members Posted November 9, 2007 I don't think she's actually getting them out (ho ho), just lounging around doped up with penicillin.

I had a tonsillectomy and it was about an hour surgery, the rest of the day in the hospital, and about a week of eating mushed up food. Not very pleasant, but definitely worth it.
