Members Carcinogen
I'm currently in the market for a new bass amp, something between 75-150 watts, at least a 4 band EQ, and a good overdriven sound. Any advise? A combo would be better than a head, but all suggestions are accepted.

Members Carcinogen
Not really important. I work at Superpawn, which is a pawnshop chain. I can drive to any store in the phoenix area and check out the overstock in the back rooms. Thats how I scored my Carvin X100B, a Schecter Diamond C1, and my Carvin PA620 I'll tell you right now that I paid no more than 200 for any of those

Members T. Alan Smith
So, are we to assume this is for private practice, maybe rehearsals and/or accompanying acoustic players, church and/or coffee house type gigs?Just checking as that's NO power for much more, like a bigger band or rock type situation. Also, why the EQ requirements...unless your bass is sub par?
Members PaulyWally
If you're looking at used gear: There are always lots of used Peavey combos for sale. Maybe look for Ampegs too (something with the B3 head would probably fit the bill perfectly).

My mum told me not to talk to you any more either after seeing your avatar. You look like a smug jazz dog fondler in that photo.

Members D Aussie
You need to talk to your publicist. That photo reminds me of catholic school or cub scouts, and I know that just is not a decent representation of the man.
