Members blueyedmule
I have been trying to find a happy medium between attacking the string hard enough to get the attack and growl I want on the string and avoiding overkill and fatigue. I'm finding that the left hand has lots to say about the attack/growl factor. Vibrato and using hammer-on-like technique in the left hand helps, also 'pushing' the strings by attacking the note with the right hand and glissing up to it with the left also gets me something more. I guess I'm trying to share the workload between the two hands more.

Members 82Daion
I tend to go light to medium-I'm not a big fan of playing with a really heavy touch. Plus, it gives me a lot of room to do dynamics and such.

Members Thumper
I play geezer rock. I try to let the amp do more work nowadays. I used to play pretty hard, and had the callouses (and carpal tunnel pain) o prove it.
