Used gig worthy amp

Hey All,

 

I posted a while back to get feedback on a bass for my son's 15th b-day.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I got a great deal on a bass so......

 

Now I'm looking into getting him an amp or amp/head that will let him do the hghschool garage/houseparty/small gig thing.

 

What do you suggest........

 

 

I did find a Peavey Max 150 watt head for $150.00. Is it worth it for the price and use?

I don't know that one in particular, but in the same range I'd look for a Peavey TNT 115.

its worth the price, imo... but you'll need a cab with that... maybe a peavey TKO cab?

 

maybe an Ashdown Blue Combo would be cool too, those are good!

My price range is flexable. I'd like to keep it to about $350 or so.

I'll get him some serious {censored} if he ends up needin it.

 

Hell if I can find a decent used combo I'd go that way as well. Anyone in the Michigan/Indiana/Ohio border region?

I've heard of the Ashdown blue.

 

I just saw a Ampeg ba115 for $235 new on clearance at a GC. But I went back 2 days later and it was gone!!!!
