what would be real cool would be if the branches met and divided with names of musicians and bands like it really happens. You know, like yardbirds --> Led Zep, etc., and you could trace one band to another.

 

 

Several bands from the 60s and 70s did exactly that in some posters they included with their albums. I'm thinking in particular of John Mayall's Blues Breakers, also believe I've seen it done for King Crimson.

very cool picture(I think Ive seen this before as well) I like it!

One question though(and I know its probably so obvious that once someone points it out itll be like a punch in the face to me) but where is Led Zeppelin,Black Sabbath and The Who on the tree, I cant seem to see or spot them??:confused:

It's American Rock. I made the same mistake looking for The Police and The Clash.
