Members 78pbass
Mesa/Boogie Basis M-2000 Anyone ever heard of this amp, and what it's capable of? you will find about 5 usernames from the HCBF. I am Corey S http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Bass+Amp/product/Mesa%2FBoogie/M-2000+Basis+Head/10/2 I still like mine quite a bit, but my tastes have moved from a more rock/thick sound to a more hi-fi sound. The M2000 will do it well, but its a swiss army knife; master of none. I've never been disappointed with mine, but its been 10 years now and I'm adding to the stable. Members Super Bass
Mike Dirnt used one for several years, up until the last album when he switched to Fender.
Members rpsands
The reviews I have read on it suggest it's not quite the uber amp that the M-pulse is. I'd probably skip it unless it's a great deal.
Members Bluescout
I have a friend that was an SVT snob. Not only an SVT but only OLD SVTs. He hauled them around with a bad back for years. The M-2000 is the only thing that has gotten him to switch.
Members Apendecto
I have yet to try a Mesa head that didn't sound awesome but that thing just has too many knobs and options for me. Yo.

I'm sorry, that's the wrong pic. That is a pic of the Mesa Boogie Space Shuttle Controller. :poke:

Members badmotor
I have owned many things over the years, and the only thing I regret selling is the M-2000. That, and the 2x15 RoadReady were heaven. Used to get told I sounded like Justin Chancellor or Timmy C.
Members guitargod0dmw
I've had one for a while now. Of all of the great amps I own, I always go back to it. It's just a stable, solid workhorse that never lets me down. It sounds great with any bass, and despite the control layout, it is rather easy to dial in a good sound...basically it's as complicated as you make it. It's a Mesa...it rocks!!!
