Members magh8 Posted December 4, 2007 Members Share Posted December 4, 2007 my bassplayers ampeg sounds like goat ass.what are good replacement tubes for this head?what type are they in all sockets?I assume they are all 12ax7?what is the tube layout?this guy has it in his head that he can only use tubes direct from ampeg in it.the tubes have never been replaced and I believe he has had it for atleast 10 years or so.any help with this is welcome...
