Members dragon9666
WTF?! Why does everyone hate N.E. so much? Envy maybe? Even those cockgobblers on espn last night were talking {censored} on NE. Common people, really..........................

Members t3ch
You always hate whoever's on top, get over it. Maybe if all of you NE/BoSox fans would shut your big mouths once in awhile you wouldn't be so loathed. Just sayin. But yeah, I don't care about either team, but that was hands down the best game I've watched all year. The firehouse was going absolutely nuts the entire 4th quarter, it was awesome. Members coyote-1
The Ravens really should have won that game. They turned out to be their own worst enemies; the calls against them were VERY justified.
Members frunobulax
... but that was hands down the best game I've watched all year. ... it was a great game. Baltimore got what they deserved by letting the Pats hang around until the end. Then they melted down, both on the sidelines and on the field. and Brady rarely gets flustered. the Ravens also made a grave tactical error on the last drive by not putting any pressure on Brady. doesn't matter how many guys are back in coverage, if TB has all night to sit in the pocket, he will move the team downfield. i don't think either the Ravens or the Eagles have come up with the plan to beat the Pats. what they've shown is that the Pats had better be ready for the best of every team they face here on down. Baltimore was fired up last night. Feeley last week, and Boller played the games of the season, Feeley arguably the game of his career. of course the Pats inability to make a tackle for the first 3/4 of the game didn't help there cause. next week, Pittsburgh here. i'll be in front of the TV. Members Captain Fathead
I watched it. Baltimore has no one to blame but themselves. On the Pat's final drive, Brady had so little pressure he could have taken a crap, wiped his ass, and still thrown the ball without being rushed. Boller > Brady, but Refs > Boller. Dude, the Ravens D guy pushed NE's receiver into the dirt in the endzone. The ball was catchable. It was a stupid mistake that gave NE 4 more plays with :50 to go inside the Ravens 10. All that guy needed to do was bat down the ball, not the player and the Ravens would've won the game. Why it's ridiculous is that goes uncalled half the other times it happens. It shouldn't be something that decides a game. That's what I hate more about the NFL more than anything. If you're gonna call a foul, call it every time.

Yeah.................so they overturn it and call that one incomplete (and they easily could have).I still would have been 2nd and goal from the 8. Oh, wait, after the penalty it would have been 2nd and goal from the 2 with the 2 unsportsmanlike conduct penalties. They would have scored anyway. baltimore's defense is good, and played well alst night, but if you think that they would have held Brady out of that endzone, you're nuts.that time out seriously {censored}ed them.Kick ass football game though. Very very entertaining to watch.
Members der oxenrig
Rex Ryan wasn't allowed to call a timeout... only the head coach or players on the team are... ESPN's Mike Tirico also pointed out NFL rule which states, "A timeout is granted upon request of a timeout by the head coach or any player to any official." By the rule, Ryan, the Ravens' defensive coordinator, should not have been granted a timeout. Brady would have been stopped on fourth down and Ravens likely would have won the game. As we know, the Patriots won.

Members bbl
I don't think the Pats are going to win out. I think the last couple of Pats games have shown just how difficult it is for teams to go undefeated. They've come through in the end, but they haven't been dominant. I think it's probable that they'll lose at least one of these last 4.If they win the next 2, they'll clinch home field throughout. Then what? They continue to play all starters to ensure a 16-0 season?

They continue to play all starters to ensure a 16-0 season? It is tough. Denver went through this in 1998. They were 13-0 going up against the Giants (who weren't THAT great of a team) and lost. It's extremely difficult to go undefeated. They still went on to win the superbowl and were definitely the best team that year (the Vikings fricking choked), but going undefeated is really really tough even for a great team, which the Pats are.If it happens to the Pats it will be this week against Pittsburgh. After that I think they have pretty smooth sailing. It would be kinda funny if their undefeated streak ended with Miami gettng their first win though.
