Members postludium
I need a new set of (4) strings and price is really no object (prefer round). Which would be the best in your opinions?

Members rummy
I've only used the GHS B52s, and EB Super Slinkies. I like the Slinkies better.
Members postludium
looking for a pretty mid-level sound, (not too dark not too bright). I'm using a warwick corvette std. right now, and the strings I have on them now are Ken Smith Burners Ultra Low Gauge .30-.90. Mostly I'm thinking that I want a higher gauge... I'm a Boomer fan(mediums), and a set of B-52s absolutely sucked in comparison to my usual Boomers - FWIW... - georgestrings

Members georgestrings
I agree. Way to zingy and bright... and not in a good way! That part didn't bother me - I found them to lack the low end that Bomers have... - georgestrings

Try the Stainless Lo-Riders. Once they break in, you should be pretty happy.

I was actually thinking about that today. I haven't had my current bass very long and all I've had on it are the nickel DR's, so I was thinking of branching out a bit. Is it a very drastic difference?

I just put Nickel Lo-Riders on one bass, so they're not completely broken in yet, but so far, the difference has not been drastic.
