Members Neonfacelift
So even though it means I would actually have to go into GC, should I go pick this up? http://www.guitarcenter.com/Squier-Vintage-Modified-Fretless-Jazz-Bass-519637-i1166455.gc I played one briefly a few weeks back and it seemed solid, and I've always wanted a fretless. It's a good, but not great, bass. Doesn't have the warmth and strong mids you really want to bring out that fretless mwah. But it's a good, solid bass. Members Neonfacelift
What is the price of that with this so called "Guitar-a-thon"??? 10% off any one item. Not a great deal, but throwing that coupon down at the end of all the bargaining and it could come out to a pretty sweet deal.

I really just want something cheap to find out if I'm actually interested in fretless. I was thinking SX at first, but judging from reviews, this seems like it would be less of a crap shoot. That and I think I like the ebonol fingerboard better than the straight up wood fingerboard of an SX. (That is what they have, right?)
