Members tylytle
have my amp on it's side while playing? I have a Sansamp RBI pre, Fender tuner and a Crown power amp in a 4 space rack. For space reasons I may need to set it up on it's side instead of sitting like normal. (my next gig has a small stage). I am not using my SVT410HLF, will be using the monitor I posted about in the other thread.
Members Emprov
I've played with amps on their sides many, many times, I can see no reason why that'd damage the amp in any way.
Members tylytle
cool. I didn't think it would, but thought I'd ask. thanks man!
Members rummy
Just make sure you don't block the vents if you happen to have them on a side.
Members ezstep
+1 what they said. Don't block the vents and all should be well. Just don't play your cabinet on its side. The sound will sort of spill out onto the floor. :poke:
Members tylytle
My main concern was stage vibrations and the transformer. Didn't want to shake anything loose. But hell, it travels on it's side in the band trailer.
Members Thumper
As long as you're not interfering with the vents/fan, you're fine.
Members tylytle
Cool. The Crown vents from front to back. No problem. Thanks all!
