Members L-1329 Posted December 30, 2007 Members Share Posted December 30, 2007 Interesting. It has a wood bridge, probably not adjustable for intonation, and some pretty cheap looking tuners too. No name import copy for sure, but it's anyones guess where it was made. Other than it looks kind of cool, I'd stay away from it unless I could really check it out in person first. Members Guttermouth Posted December 30, 2007 Members Share Posted December 30, 2007 looks like a univox .there was a ton of basses and guitars that came out of the same japanese factory in the 60's.they were made to be rebranded by the store or company that bought them and the badges had a tendency to fall off because the reseller usually just glued em on. Yeah, Univox is a good call -- or an Aria -- which I believe also came from the same factory of that period. It doesn't look like an Electra but, then again, ya never know....
