Members PrestiaRules
I like Peavey combos...but that is only 60 watt and apparently doesn't have a line out? That will be hard pressed to keep up with guitar and drums. Maybe one of these two for a bit more$329http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Rumble-100-Bass-Combo?sku=480721 $349http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ampeg-BA115-Bass-Amp-Series-Combo?sku=481777 both are 100w and can line out...I would choose the Ampeg of those three... but I would actually look for a used Peavey TNT or 115 combo on ebay. Plenty of power and reliable.

Agreed 100% - when low on funds(or not), used Peavey is always a great way to go - and you're spot on about those 2 amps... - georgestrings
Members Rob Martinez
I have the MAX158 and really like it. It's only about 10 watts, I use it to jam quietly in the living room, or when practicing with our guitar player at low volumes without a PA for vocals. Nice amp. Members Death Hands
I had a Peavey MAX112 as my only amplifier for a long while, and it was solid, reliable and loud, for 32 watts. They're bitchin' setups, if you're not looking for too much flash or frill. TNT would be better for gigging, though, I think.
Members T. Alan Smith
The TNT is the standard low cost gig worthy combo. Peavey's new Max 1x12 is what I'd get if I didn't have to keep up in a loud rock-type setting...for practice, accompanying acoustic players, worship situations, coffee house gigs, it's perfect and sounds great. Members DevilRaysFan
Depends what sound you are looking for....Peavey MAX 115 combos do not have high frequency drivers and, if thats what you like in your sound, by all means......I like having a horn in my bass cab(s) for crispness/tightness but thats just me...If you like having a horn and absolutely want a Peavey, consider a Peavey keyboard amp - they actually double as decent bass amps...If you want a dedicated bass combo with a horn around the price range of a Peavey, consider a Yorkville Bass combo..........If you dont want a horn, the Peavey MAX 115 is a good choice
Members UK_Lefty
Get a used Peavey if you need the power to keep up with a band but you're low on funds. I have never had a better deal. The power is incredible, they're reliable and they're cheap. Tone isn't great so you wouldn't be playing jazz with an EURB through it but plug in a p-bass and rock it!!! Members thelurker
I actually once owned a Peavey TNT 100 combo, which was actually a 50w amp (15" cone), but it could keep up with a whole band at rehearsal. The TNT 115 featured 100w and a Black Widow 15" speaker.
