Members lokidecat
Okay. that first Grinderman video was just lame. "Yes I'm the grinderman.. yes I am.. (show monkey).. i'm the Grinderman in the rain... yeah.. i'm the grinderman.. in the pale moon light.. the grinderman..." derrrrrr
Members Fiery Furnace
I'm liking the Grinderman CD, it's not Birthday Party, but it's pretty good.
Members D Aussie
Huh>? When did he get bad ass? He started Badass... example: ...has had a period of maturity and now he and the sillier elements of the bad seeds are Grinderman. The Grinderman show in Sydney late last year was easily one of the best live shows ever.. ever ever... ever. Jim Skibadubadubus from the Cramps and Martin P Casey from the Triffids are the worlds best rhythm section. And to have St Nick and Warren Ellis strangling electric mandolins, geetars, violins over the top is pure magic.

I've never been a massive fan of his music, but at the same time I reckon his lyrics tell stories better than anyone. I quite enjoyed listening to the segment on him whilst I was driving around on Sunday.

ATP = All Tomorrows Parties, right? We saw info on this about a year ago and it was going to be a Happy Days theme. You were meant to go as a greaser or a nerd and the bands would be doing similar.. maybe it all got too hard.

I don't remember Happy Days being mentioned at all though... Maybe it was in relation to one of the festivals there were putting on in the USA or one of their London shows, not the UK festival. The Portishead-curated festival in December was ace too. You should definitely get some tickets if any future lineup interests you

Glad you had a good time, even if we couldnt be there.
Members Super_Donut_Man
Huh>? When did he get bad ass? He started Badass... It was a rhetorical question, to which he/any enlightened person (as you have shown) would answer "from the moment of conception." Side note Dang forgot to include the Birthday party
