You don't need a class III FFL to get a silencer in the US. You fill out some paperwork, pay the IRS $200, and wait 6 months. Then you can buy one no problemo. However, you do open yourself to ATF walking into your house whenever they feel like it, just to make sure it's safe. Yes...I have looked into it many times. The gun that I posted doesn't have a silencer though...it's a "barrel shroud" does the same thing though...but it's totally legal. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
