What do you charge to give bass lessons?

I don't give any...but the local guy in town wants $25 for a 1/2 hour and $50 for an hour. It's at his studio...


I took lessons from him maybe 15 years ago and it was like $15 for a 1/2 hour and $22 for an hour. Ain't inflation a bitch!

Mayberry's in a time wharp here... $15 to $20 for half hour.

My lessons cost about $60 an hour, although I'm in another country so the exchange rate came into play. I take 30 min lessons once a week.

 

My teacher charges 2 months at a time, in advance. I guess its a bit more secure, I don't mind. It saves me having to worry about paying each lesson. It would also make it easier to keep students as Funkee says.

I'm at $60/hour $35 for half hour live or webcam, it's all the same

 

I have a MM degree and lots of teaching experience...but people wont pay more than that around here.... if i lived somewhere more metropolitan i could get away with $75-80/hour
