Members dDigitalPimp
i remember talk of a company that takes used bass strings and sends them to poorer nations for musicians who cannot afford new strings. i was looking through my random bass/guitar junk box and i have like 4 sets of strings that are in rather good shape that i have no use for. anyone got teh infoz? Members james on bass
I've got 4 or 5 sets as well that I hate to throw out. Someone, somewhere could use them.
Members SelenaBassGirl
if you can't find any where to send them, you can make cool bracelets with them. I have a single string one that I got awhile back, and the other night I got another ordered that is several strings twisted into a bracelet. It can be for guys or chicks. Would make great goodies for the groupies too! just an idea! But looking on the net, I found this: Tangible Music 516 409-5433Kevin Deame28 Ladd Road,Ellington, CT 06029 now the web sites that they had listed didn't go anywhere anymore-this was found on another forum written in 2003, but perhaps the phone number or address would help.
