Members Jessz1
I went to the pawn shop. They had an Ibanez SR500 in decent shape for $225 that cought my eye. Played like butter and sounded good. Few dings and nicks.... really ugly finish.... May go pick it up if I don't find anything else before then. They also had an Arai? Felt nice. I didn't plug it in but it sounded good unplugged. Really low action on this thing. I think they are asking 120 for it. Fun time.

Members Thumper
Do you mean Aria? Some Arias are nice basses, especially from the '70s and '80s. I haven't played a recent one.
Members t3ch
If I found an SR500 in the natural dark brown color for that price I would buy it so quick my credit card would probably rip in half.
Members poomwah
I used to have an aria zzb model, straight out of the 80's, it was neat but generic as hell quality wise doesnt arai make helmets?
Members Jessz1
The SR was a dirty brown color. Sorta like this... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=180207450424&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=008 I may go back monday if I can get them to make a deal on it. I think it would be a hard bass to beat at that price. It had Bartolini pick ups in it. Did they come from the factory like that? Yes the other bass was an Aria. I couldn't find any other markings on it except the serial number.

Members jasper383
I think there's a law that requires every pawn shop to have at least one Aria on the premises at all times.

Members t3ch
$225 for an SR500 is a steal. Especially one in the nice natural color. Usually when I find them that cheap they're one of the fugly ass old painted versions.

Members Jessz1
Did I hear Aria being mentioned??? What did it look like? Flat black bolt on neck. Humbucker at the bridge with a single right in front of it. Pretty nice playing. Small body.
