New Ibanez BTB Basses for 2008

I have this one:

I think it's a 2006 model. I like it a lot even though I'm mostly playing my Pbass these days. The neck feels good and the para-EQ gives you a lot of tone possibilities. Really well made.

As promised, pic of my new Ibanez BTB-1305 picked up on Wednesday night. This is a very nice bass. Review pending. I'm going to use it tomorrow morning at church. Unless someone has an objection, I'm claiming "First BTB-1305 Owner in Canada" bragging rights.

I love that combination of the maple with mahogany for the body wood, it looks freaking cool

 

I'm also loving the natural finish on the BTB675

Cool. I love the look of the BTB. I wanted to be impressed by them, but the few I've played have been uninspiring so far.

What was it you didn't like about them? I've found so far in my travels that the high end ones are the ones with the reputation to write home about, but any with the Ibanez pups or lower models aren't half as good.
